Crossing over: bringing the climate crisis into the political discourse

Have you noticed the absence of climate concerns in the media as a factor influencing voter choice?

While discussing the border, inflation, abortion, the economy, loss of democracy, etc., the media never seems to include in its menu of voting concerns an issue which is of major importance to many of us (especially the young):

The habitability of the Earth for human life, aka, the climate crisis.

In 2019, CAN convened the Climate Convergence Conference involving almost 200 of our neighbors whose major theme was advocating for science-based climate policy.

More than ever, at this moment, we must bring the climate crisis into the mainstream of political discourse!

Future generations will thank us for this effort.
